Republican governors with aggressive conservative agendas have been having a good few years, from Scott Walker in Wisconsin to John Kasich in Ohio. Why isn’t Pennsylvania’s Tom Corbett a part of that club?
Saturday’s Up with Steve Kornacki discussed a National Journal article published this week that said the Pennsylvania Republican Party is looking to ditch Corbett after only one term. Corbett pushed through a voter ID law that could disenfranchise hundreds of thousands of people, and while voting law changes in Wisconsin and other states have enjoyed broad support from conservatives, this isn’t helping Corbett. The Up panel discussed why Pennsylvania is different and what that means for Corbett next year.
