Battle over 'stop-and-frisk' just beginning
Even though a judge declared New York City’s controversial ”stop-and-frisk” policy unconstitutional, the legal battle is not yet over. New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg vowed to appeal the ruling, while plaintiffs maintain the law violated their constitutional rights. Lalit Clarkson is one of those plaintiffs, and Sunita Patel, a lawyer with the group that filed the suit join MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts to discuss their next steps.
