President Obama addressed the nation from the White House regarding ongoing debt ceiling negotiations between Democrats and Republicans. He called for an end to the stalemate, and urged immediate action. "The American people may have voted for divided government, but they didn't vote for a dysfunctional government," the president said tonight's speech.Minutes later, House Speaker John Boehner offered a response to Obama's speech.
