Rick Perry is sticking to the plan, making his first appearance on the national debate stage tomorrow."He plans to be there," Perry spokesman Mark Miner told The Hill.com this afternoon. There have questions on whether or not he would end up making the scheduled trip to the Reagan Presidential Library in California for the Republican debate, which is co-sponsored by NBC and Politico.Over the weekend, Perry skipped out on a few campaign stops in South Carolina and New Hampshire to deal with the raging wildfires back in his home state. read more

Tropical Storm Lee is causing problems for the Gulf Coast. The federal government is suing 17 major banks over the housing crisis.
