Coming up, NBC News National Investigative Correspondent Michael Isikoff joins Lawrence to discuss the escalating tension between Pakistan and the U.S. in the aftermath of the Osama bin Laden raid.  The AP is reporting Sen. John Kerry (D) Massachusetts, will travel to Pakistan in the coming days.  Kerry's visit would be the first such trip by a senior lawmaker since the bin Laden operation.Kerry has been a champion of U.S. aid to Pakistan and the Obama administration has in the past asked him to smooth tensions with Islamabad. Kerry chairs the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. read more

This morning in a TODAY Show interview, House Speaker John Boehner talked to Matt Lauer about several topics including the relationship between the United States and Pakistan, the death of bin Laden, and the debate over the looming debt ceiling. On that last point, Speaker Boehner said Republicans would not consider any tax increases in negotiations over a debt ceiling deal. In fact, his exact words were: "It is off the table." Michigan Law grads walk out of graduation

Over 100 students, almost one third of the University of Michigan Law School's graduating class, walked out in protest over their speaker Senator Rob Portman's (R-OH) anti-gay record at their own commencement ceremony Saturday. Students were protesting the choice of Portman who has a substantial anti-gay voting history.       One of those graduates and protest organizer, Andrew Selbst explains his protest decision as being part of a larger American audience where there is no longer a place for discrimination of any group. read more

Does the name Andrew Card ring a bell? He was the Chief of Staff for President George W. Bush until April of 2006. Card is the guy who whispered into Pres. Bush's ear on September 11, 2001 while Pres. Bush was reading to school children in Florida telling him the nation was under attack. He was also the Chief of Staff for Pres. Bush during the now-infamous "Mission Accomplished" speech on May 1, 2003. You know... the one where Pres. Bush piloted an airplane onto the USS Abraham Lincoln.
