A NBC news poll released over the weekend addressed the impact of Donald Trump's endorsement of Republican candidates with voters. Proving the reality show star's handshake may be poison in the polls, 32 percent of likely Iowa caucus-goers say Trump's stamp of approval makes them less likely to vote for a candidate. About 21 percent say it will make them more likely to vote for a particular candidate and 44 percent say it wouldn't affect their vote.

Trump's endorsement is worse for candidates in New Hampshire, with 37 percent saying Trump's endorsement would harm the candidate. On the flip-side, 19 percent say Trump helps. Similar to Iowa, roughly 42 percent say it would not affect their vote either way.
