Today, Time magazine released its list of the 100 most influential people in the world. The usual suspects made the list: President Obama, Hillary Clinton, Oprah. (Lady Gaga, you were robbed!)

But this year, four prominent Republicans also made the cut for the first time: Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan, Rep. Michele Bachmann, House Speaker John Boehner and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. Time mag profiled the Koch Brothers, which have been quietly yet generously funding the Tea Party. Sarah Palin was noticeably absent from the list.
