When asked to describe their impression of the budget negotiations in one word in a new Washington Post-Pew Research Center Poll, things like "pathetic," "disgusting," "bull," "crazy," and "childish" came to mind.

NY Mag's Daily Intel blog went one step further by asking a demo of sixth-graders to weigh in on the "childish" behavior of lawmakers. The 10 and 11-year-old break down the debt ceiling saga in their own way. To them, politicians are "acting like kids who only have three video games and they want more," then some guy with a "turtle face" came in to the talks.
