As investigators try to determine whether pilot inexperience was a factor in Saturday’s Asiana Airlines plane crash, Rush Limbaugh compared President Obama to one of the four co-pilots aboard the Boeing 777, saying the president has “no clue” how to do his job.

The Saturday crash killed two teenage girls and injured 180 other passengers. Federal investigators have learned that the pilot of Asiana Airlines Flight 214 was still training on the Boeing 777 and was landing one at San Francisco International for the first time.

Limbaugh said the following on Monday’s radio show.

“This pilot had very little experience flying the airplane. He had most of it in a simulator. He had never landed a 777 at San Francisco airport. I don’t know if he sat in the number two seat. I don’t know if he was a copilot on a flight to San Francisco. I don’t know that. I do know that he had never landed there himself in the number one seat.  So, you could say it was on-the-job training. And when I heard about this, it sounded like exactly what the whole country went through in 2008. The guy flying the plane had never done it before, had no clue, and still doesn’t.”

This has not been the first time Limbaugh has politicized a tragedy. Following the Newtown tragedy that killed 20 children and six adult educators, Limbaugh went after the president, saying that he was exploiting the event to advance his own political agenda. “The wet dream plan for eliminating guns in this country has been a plan that the left has had for years, and it’s been sitting in a drawer somewhere waiting to be pulled out at the appropriate time, just like health care was,” Limbaugh said on his radio show.
