Rove super PAC ad slams 'cool' Obama

President Obama squashing a bug Mr. Miyagi-style is really freaking "cool." As was his recent slow-jam with Jimmy Fallon and crooning away to Al Green's "Let's Stay Together" at a fundraising event. The president can also chug a Guinness like a college kid. But, a new ad from Karl Rove's super PAC warns voters not to be fooled by his charm.

The conservative group, American Crossroads, wants us to believe that Obama, the celebrity, has no substance. The newly released attack ad throws all this coolness back in Obama's face, suggested his policies have failed to help young voters. The clip links Obama to stats like 50 percent of recent grads are jobless or underemployed and student loan debt surpasses one trillion dollars.

It was only a matter of minutes before someone remixed the ad online. A similar video highlights Obama's coolness and all the progressive causes he fought for in his first term, like repealing Don't Ask Don't Tell and equal pay for equal work.

Back in 2008, Obama's ties to Tinsel Town became the subject of campaign attack ads. John McCain called Obama the "biggest celebrity in the world," up there with A-listers of the era, Britney Spears and Paris "I'll-see-you-at-the-debates-bitches" Hilton.
