Two peas in a pod?

Admit it, you've probably wondered at least once who would play you in a movie. And, who knows? It could happen. Maybe you're the next Erin Brockovich, waiting to be discovered.

Newt Gingrich is no different than the rest of us, as far as Hollywood dreams go. Yesterday, he told a syndicated radio host Rick Stevens he wants Brad Pitt to play him in a movie.

That Brad Pitt. Angelina's hunk, Brad Pitt. Formerly Jennifer Aniston's hunk, Brad Pitt. Personally, I don't see the resemblance, and Gingrich doesn't either.

"I don't look like him at all," Gingrich said. "He's thinner, he's better looking, he's younger." He added, "if you’re gonna go it, you gotta relax and just let your imagination soar."

I'm no casting expert, but he might have a better shot going more in the Dwight Schrute direction.

Meanwhile, Republican rival Mitt Romney has a serious typecasting problem on his hands. With a recent slew of gaffes, he risks being seen as the "rich Republican white guy" with voters — a narrative he's trying to avoid.
