The breakout star of the New York state gubernatorial race is back. With three-term Mayor Michael Bloomberg finally leaving office, the race to head America's biggest city is wide open. So Jimmy "the rent is too damn high" McMillan has announced that he will throw his hat back into the Empire State's political ring, this time running for city mayor.

But press conferences are way too boring a manner to make such announcements for this candidate. Instead, he's released a music video. Yes, you read that correctly. A music video.

And spoiler alert: McMillan says the rent is still too damn high. His tagline, as rapped in this music video, is "I'm Jimmy McMillian. 2013. I'm running for mayor, come run with me." He also points out, after telling us again that the "rent is too damn high," that his mustache and haircut are "too damn fly." That is a point about which there can be simply no debate.
