Beyonce and First Lady team up

Okay, I know, I know — today's news is kind of all about one thing. But there are other things happening in the world, too. And this one's kind of fun.

Okay, I know, I know — today's news is kind of all about one thing. But there are other things happening in the world, too. And this one's kind of fun. Late yesterday R&B superstar Beyonce released this video for First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! campaign to fight childhood obesity. Beyonce repurposed her hit, "Get Me Bodied" which already had some apropos lyrics like, "A little sweat never hurt nobody." This new version (which still includes that exact lyric) is called, "Move Your Body." It's set, where else, but in a school cafeteria and encourages students to have fun exercising with its upbeat and patriotic lyrics. And if I do say so myself, this track is definitely iPod-worthy. The plan is to officially roll out this video during a "dance-in" at middle schools across the country on May 3.

Personally, I'm hoping Beyonce's "Let's Move!" follow-up is a new version of this Destiny's Child dance floor anthem with everyone's favorite lyric tweaked to, "I don't think you ready for this sugar-free jelly."
