When I was little, I remember I couldn't wait till I was a grown up so I could sign official documents with my signature. Even now, I practice signing my name during meetings (c'mon, we all do it).

So who would have thought that this signature belonged to Jacob Lew, Director of the OMB.

Here's a close-up:

Lew signed this memo titled "Eliminating Excess Conference Spending and Promoting Efficiency in Government," in which it specifies ways the government can increase efficiency and create cost-cutting measures. But let's be honest, no one is going to take him seriously when they see that a five-year-old has doodled all over a government memo.

This is really his signature — there are eight loops, one loop for each letter in his full name, Jacob Lew. For someone so good with numbers, he's not so good with penmanship. Lew may want to rethink his signature so no one forges his checks.
