The "Enemies Within"

05/12/11 03:07PM

Lame duck Fox News host Glenn Beck has been saying for years that he's looking for the next George Wasington to lead the country back to greatness. Today on his radio show Beck all but endorsed Congresswoman Michele Bachmann for being one of the few GOP presidential candidates for having the ability to see the "enemies within" the government. (h/t media matters)  That said, Bachmann has been awful quiet on the death of Osama Bin Laden. Until today.   Three cheers for gangster government! read more

The Man Who Can Bring Down Gas Prices?

05/12/11 02:47PM

Pres. Obama last night announced he will nominate Mark Wetjen to replace Michael Dunn on the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. As we discussed on The Ed Show early this year, this one appointment has the potential to do more than anything else to bring down gas prices. Why? Part of the CFTC's job is to minimize the undue influence of commodity speculators on the price of gas.
