Michele Bachmann is standing by her claim that she can get gas prices below $2 a gallon. She told a crowd last week “Under President Bachmann you will see gasoline come down below $2 a gallon again… That will happen.“ Of course Bachmann hasn’t put forward a serious plan to show how that would happen - all she seems to be doing is criticizing President Obama on the issue. Tonight Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders who’s an outspoken critic of “rampant” oil speculation is joining us to talk about Bachmann’s pledge.

We’ll have the latest on Libya tonight - Rebel fighters have flooded into Khaddafy’s compound but apparently he was no where to be found. It’s unclear whether the rebels have complete control of the compound or Tripoli as small pockets of fighting continue to pop up in the capital city. Tonight we’re going to look at where the Republicans are on this issue, we haven’t heard much from any of the GOP presidential candidates.

Tonight we’re talking to a Trenton Texas school board member that thinks Rick Perry’s public education budget cuts have decimated her school district. The Huffington Post is reporting today that teachers in Texas are blaming Perry for increased class sizes.
