Another part of President Obama’s jobs bill was defeated in the Senate today. Republicans continue to oppose any attempt to get the wealthiest individuals and corporations to pay their fair share of taxes. Presidential candidate Michele Bachmann even believes the lower income Americans should pay more.  A new study found thirty Fortune 500 companies that paid no federal income taxes between 2008 and 2010.

Despite his recent bouts with sexual harassment allegations from his past, Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain has yet to suffer in the polls.  The Hill reports that details have emerged about the settlement another one of Cain’s accusers received.
