What We’re Watching 11/21/11


Time is running out for the congressional “super committee” to release their $1.2 trillion deficit reduction plan. Aids from both democrats and Republicans are predicting a failure as no agreement has been made yet.   

The police chief at University of California, Davis has been put on administrative leave after campus officers doused seated protestors from the Occupy movement with pepper spray. An investigation is underway following the widespread distribution of the footage.

Newt Gingrich, who currently leads neck-and-neck with Mitt Romney in the top of the polls, announced his Social Security plan that allows younger workers to invest in private retirement accounts. He also came out in favor of loosening child labor law restrictions, which he called “stupid.”
