What We’re Watching 11/14/11


In the Penn State sexual abuse scandal, the judge who granted accused child molester Jerry Sandusky a $100,000 unsecured bail  had ties to Sandusky’s charity.

Newt Gingrich does appear to be the main political beneficiary of Herman Cain’s sexual harassment allegations.  Two recent polls have Gingrich surging; and one poll even has him in the lead of the Republican primary race.

In Wisconsin, the effort to recall anti-union governor Scott Walker will officially being tomorrow.  Despite the overwhelming rejection of anti-labor policies by Ohio voters last week, Governor Walker remains confident the recall will not be successful.
