Sarah Palin: Gov. Christie has his 'panties in a wad'

Sarah Palin paid a visit to her friends over at the Fox Business Network last night to give her take on Chris Christie’s Meet the Press appearance on Sunday.

Governor Christie (R-N.J.) ripped into Newt Gingrich on the program calling him an embarrassment to the Republican Party.

Sarah didn’t take kindly to that comment, in her opinion Christie played right into the “lame stream media’s” trap by calling Newt an embarrassment. But last night Palin, who resigned midway through her first term as Alaska's governor, took her criticism of the Republican golden boy to a new level, she thinks Christie got his "panties in a wad."

“Poor Chris, this was a rookie mistake,” she said. “Chris played right into it, and you know, spewed that about, yeah, Newt embarrassing the party. Sometimes if your candidate loses in just one step along this path, as was the case when Romney lost to Newt the other night — and of course, Romney is Chris Christie’s guy — you kind of get your panties in a wad and you may say things that you regret later.”

Christie wouldn’t bite on a reporter’s question today about Palin slamming him.

“I don’t have any comment about Sarah Palin,” Christie said. “At all.”
