Rep.

Rep. Donna Edwards (D-MD)

Katrina Vanden Heuvel, Editor and Publisher of The Nation

Boehner is working hard to round up enough votes to pass his plan "To Hold President Obama Accountable" (yes, that's really the name)-- dealing with the ideological rifts within his own party. While he told his caucus that the Senate would go along with the plan, Senate Democrats and Independents are sending a firm message that they will NOT support the bill, scheduled to be voted on tomorrow. Time is wasting and this dangerous game of politics is already taking a toll on the stock market. We have six days until default... What options are left? We'll talk about it.

Dean Baker, Economist and Co-Director of the Center for Economic Policy and Research

Laura Flanders, host of GRITtv on Free Speech TV and editor of the book “At the Tea Party”

We're talking about the Tea Party Republicans and the affect they're having on the tug-of-war debate going on in Washington. Even those that wrote the checks to help put the Tea Partiers in office are beginning to have buyer's remorse as the group continues to prevent any attempts at compromise. Has their insistence on a cuts-only approach actually affected what credit agencies are telling lawmakers? We'll get into it.

Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH)

House GOP leadership played a clip from Ben Affleck's movie "The Town" to rally support for Speaker Boehner's debt plan. You won't believe what the 20 second clip implies about their methods to solve the crisis and the enthusiastic reaction from a certain Republican Congressman.
