‘Ed Show’ tonight: Tue., Feb. 7, 2012

Republicans in Colorado, Missouri and Minnesota are trying to pick the best candidate to go up against President Obama.  Can Rick Santorum revitalize his campaign?

Ed is on the ground tonight in Minnesota with the very latest and will get reaction and analysis from Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) and Richard Wolffe, msnbc Political Analyst (by the way, Ed will be back live at 11pET for the latest results).

The Obama campaign faces reality.  In a stunning reversal, President Obama embraces the super PACs he assailed as a “threat to democracy.”  Did he really have a choice?  Jonathan Alter, msnbc Political Analyst and Bloomberg View Columnist, Ezra Klein, Washington Post Columnist and msnbc Policy Analyst, will talk with Ed about today’s major announcement.

Marriage equality wins a major victory in the courts today.  Melissa Harris-Perry, msnbc Host, Political Science Professor at Tulane University and columnist for The Nation Magazine, Dan Choi, Retired Lt., Army Combat Veteran, Discharged under Don’t Ask Don’t Tell in 2010, look at the reversal of California’s Prop 8.

The woman at the center of the Susan G. Komen Planned Parenthood controversy quits.  Terry O’Neill, President of The National Organization for Women, will join ed for the latest.

In Wisconsin, more bad news for Scott Walker as a former staffer cops a plea deal.  Is this just the beginning?  Ed will ask John Nichols, Washington Correspondent of The Nation.

And Rush Limbaugh is back in Psycho Talk.  This time, he’s so desperate for President Obama to fail, he’s making up lies about the January job growth.

It’s going to be another packed @EdShow at 8pET on @msnbctv.

But sorry, due to election returns, we will not be able to share your thoughts on the show tonight.  Still, join the conversation now or during the show by commenting on Facebook and/or tweeting (with the #edshow hashtag).

@TweetTron9k will be back tomorrow (Wednesday) to put yer tweets on the teevee!
