There was major movement in the fiscal cliff negotiations on the hill today. Not only are Democrats getting after him to make a deal, but more Republicans are breaking ranks, business leaders are pressing for Boehner to budge, and then there’s Kris Kringle. Yes, Santa himself held a presser tonight to call for fiscal sanity. Rep. John Garamendi (D- CA) is our big A block guest.

Then we have some of the biggest news to come out of the Federal Reserve Bank in years. Ben Bernanke announced a new stimulus program that will boost the economy and help your bottom line.  William Cohan, Bloomberg View Columnist, Author “Money and Power”, breaks down the impact.

In Michigan, it has never been more clear that Republicans and their dark money cronies are making a political play to cripple unions in order to undermine Democratic infrastructure. Ed has a LOT to say on this point tonight, and then we’ll talk to America’s Mayor, Lansing’s Virg Bernero, and Former Ohio Governor Ted Strickland.

And the great North Dakota Senator Kent Conrad is leaving the Senate. Tonight, he joins Ed to tell him how the broken chamber can get fixed.

It’s going to another blockbuster @edshow at 8pET on @msnbctv.
