‘ED Show’ playbook: Wed., Sep. 19

48 days until the election and the Republican establishment is freaking out over new portions of Mitt Romney’s attack on 47 percent of Americans, captured by a hidden camera.

Tonight, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, (D-FL) Chair of the Democratic National Committee, will join Ed to analyze the Republican chaos.

Mitt Romney told his wealthy donors in May he would “take advantage” of a foreign policy crisis. We’ll look back at his reaction to last week’s crisis in Libya with Jon Soltz, Chairman of Vote Vets, and Sam Stein, Huffington Post political editor.

Romney’s running mate, Paul Ryan, launches a second campaign ad for his re-election to the House.  Does he know something we don’t?  Ed will ask Ryan’s Democratic challenger, Rob Zerban.

The Romney camp wants to change the subject and talk about “redistribution.”  Great, we’ll discuss Mitt Romney’s kind of redistribution with Dean Baker, Economist and Co-Director of the Center for Economic Policy and Research.

And in the big finish, Mitt Romney’s caught on tape comments about poor Americans could have a big effect on some key Senate races. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) joins Ed to discuss how Ohio voters are reacting to Mitt Romney’s 47 percent disaster and much more.

It’s going to another blockbuster @EdShow at 8pET on @msnbctv.
