'Ed Show' playbook: Wed., May 2

Brand new income inequality numbers are out and they’re really ugly for middle classers.  But Wall Street bankers are still whining about class warfare.

Brand new income inequality numbers are out and they’re really ugly for middle classers.  But Wall Street bankers are still whining about class warfare.  Tonight, Ed will ask Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) whether the middle class can survive a President Mitt Romney.

While the country was facing economic crisis, Republicans were more concerned about obstructing President Obama.  Robert Draper, contributing writer for the New York Times Magazine and author (“Do Not Ask What Good We Do: Inside the U.S. House of Representatives”) has the details about the GOP's plot to stop the president.

Republican homophobes claim victory after a gay Romney aid quits, but why is Romney himself silent on this issue?  Ed will ask Karen Finney, msnbc Political Analyst and Former DNC Communications Director, and Chris Kofinis, Democratic Strategist.

The Republican assault on public education continues in Pennsylvania and poor school districts are hurting the most.  Two people who are battling against Governor Tom Corbett's cuts, Rep. Matt Bradford (D-PA) and Kim Schwarz, President of the York Education System, Fifth Grade teacher, will talk about the fight to save public schools.

You might've forgotten he was still running, but Newt Gingrich finally said goodbye to the campaign trail today.  Ed will have Newt's greatest hits.

And new polling in Wisconsin shows Gov. Scott Walker in deep trouble.  Ed will ask Robert Greenwald, documentary filmmaker and the director of the Brave New Foundation, whether the Koch brothers can bail him out.

It's going to be yet another packed @EdShow at 8pET on @msnbctv.
