Republicans reveal their fiscal cliff end game: give on taxes and take the economy hostage again. Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D- MD) responds tonight.

Then, somehow raising the medicare eligibility age is back in the fiscal cliff discussion. David Cay Johnston, columnist for Reuters, Pulitzer Prize-winner and author of “Perfectly Legal” and “Free Lunch,”says it would be a betrayal to do it and joins Ed for that.

In Michigan, President Obama stands up for workers like he has never done before. Tonight, Ed welcomes Rep. Gary Peters (D-MI) and Cindy Estrada, Vice President,  UAW, to talk about the president’s big speech and why the fight in Michigan is an assault on workers everywhere.

Plus, there’s major news on a new White House push for immigration reform.

And in the BIG Finish, 40 years after man’s last trip to the moon, a return voyage may be a reality. Derrick Pitts, Chief Astronomer, The Franklin Institute, will tell us why the “golden spike” is a BIG deal.
