'Ed Show' playbook: Monday, Apr. 30

Republicans slam President Obama, saying he’s politicizing the death of Osama bin Laden.

Republicans slam President Obama, saying he’s politicizing the death of Osama bin Laden.  Tonight, Ed digs through the archives to prove them wrong with help from msnbc Political Analyst Richard Wolffe.

The president goes on the offense and calls out Republicans for obstructing job creation.  Howard Fineman, NBC News Political Analyst and Editorial Director of the Huffington Post Media Group, tell us why it is the GOP, not Washington, that is broken.

You will not want to miss this: a Republican strategist and former Romney advisor says women are not paid less than men, but msnbc host Rachel Maddow serves him the facts.  Joan Walsh, Salon’s Editor at Large, will weigh in.

Everyone is talking about how Apple gets away with paying so little in taxes.  But  Rep. Paul Ryan's budget plan would make things even worse.  David Cay Johnston, columnist for Reuters, Pulitzer Prize winner, author of "Perfectly Legal" and "Free Lunch," will fill us in on the details.

Mitt Romney wanted to let Detroit to go bankrupt.  But now his campaign is trying to take credit for President Obama's greatest economic achievement.  Ed will call them out for that lie.

And in the Big Finish, President Obama plays comedian in chief at this weekend's White House Correspondents Dinner.  Ed was there and shows you how the president used humor to go after the Republican talking points.
