Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s assault weapons ban may be off the table for now but the need for common sense gun safety is even more urgent.

Tonight on the The Ed Show at 8pET (indeed, the final Ed Show show until Ed Schultz launches his weekend program, coming soon at 5p-7pET on msnbc!!), guest host Michael Eric Dyson welcomes Academy Award-winning filmmaker Michael Moore on the 10th anniversary of his documentary Bowling for Columbine.

And in the BIG Finish, Chicago braces for the largest school closure in history. Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr., founder and president of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, joins Michael on the impact on students in the nation’s third largest school district.
