Ryan Lizza, Washington Correspondent for The New Yorker, has a new article out where he examines President Obama’s unique balance of realism and idealism, what one aide called consequentialism. Lizza says the president’s main concern is outcomes and that some have described his doctrine as “leading from behind.”
