The Values Voter Summit kicked off today in Washington, featuring speakers spanning all three days, including vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan.

During his speech, Ryan was heckled by audience members shouting, “corporations are not people," but the crowd quickly responded to the heckling with chants of “USA! USA!” in support of Ryan.

In case you forgot, the heckled chant was a nod to Romney’s speech at the Iowa State Fair in 2011.

Although presidential candidate Mitt Romney was invited to speak and attend, he has not confirmed an appearance. Ryan’s appearance is a change from 2008 when neither Sen. John McCain nor Gov. Sarah Palin attended.

And in case you were wondering, here’s a full list of 2012 Values Voter confirmed speakers and a schedule of events on the summit’s website.
