President Obama will deliver his fifth State of the Union Tuesday evening and the White House is using social media to build momentum for the national address.

Today, the White House released a behind the scenes video where President Obama is seen working on speech revisions in the Oval office with his lead speechwriter Cody Keenan and Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes.

"I like it," President Obama says. "I think the tone is right. I think the framework is right."

Leading up to this evening’s address the @WhiteHouse Instagram account was taken over by behind the scenes photos of how President Obama and his team are prepping for the State of the Union using hashtag #InsideSOTU and yesterday the White House released a 6-second preview of the State of the Union on Vine.

At the end of the video, President Obama jokingly says to Keenan, who hasn’t shaved his beard since the speechwriting process began in November, "You should have trimmed that beard if you were going to be on TV, man."
