As we all gear to sit on our couches and watch the results trickle in for the House, Senate, and Presidential races it is fun to speculate on how we think the election may turn out. According to the NBC News/Wall Street Journal and Real Clear Politics average President Obama is holding a slight national lead over Romney.
According to the latest polling from Real Clear Politics the president has leads in key battleground states like Ohio, Virginia, and Nevada. However, Romney is holding strong in Florida and North Carolina.
To help our Cyclists understand what these polling numbers mean our resident number-cruncher, Nate Cohn of The New Republic, is back in the guest spot. Nate’s latest argument is that the state polling is finally starting to match up with the national polling, which is not a good sign for Romney.
