Is there such a thing as Too Much Michelle?

On the third anniversary of the “Let’s Move!” campaign, the First Lady is touting the success of her healthy eating movement. “The First Lady is everywhere these days,” Toure said on Tuesday. Just last week Mrs Obama released a PSA with Big Bird straight from the White House kitchen where the two of them discussed healthy eating habits. This past Friday she was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon as she showed off her dance moves and sense of humor. On Sunday she was live from the White House to reveal who won Best Picture at the Oscars.

Michelle Obama  is becoming more visible during President Obama’s second term than she was in his first. “First Ladies throughout history have really made that role into whatever they want it to be,” Krystal pointed out during the show. "This First Lady, Michelle Obama, has really done a great job highlighting issues that aren’t partisan and that really need to be addressed in the country.”

Have we seen too much of Michelle Obama lately? The rightwing--predictably--criticized her for appearing on the Oscars. (And the press in Iran changed her image so that her Oscar dress appeared to have sleeves and a higher neck.)  But most Americans seem happy to see their first lady: according to a Pew Research poll 67% of Americans have a favorable opinion of Mrs. Obama.

Still want more? Michelle Obama will be doing a Google Hangout on March 4th.
