Is that Anthony Weiner? Close, but not quite. Representative Paul Ryan recently said he has been mistaken for the scandal-ridden New York politician on a few occasions.
During an appearance Wednesday before a Republican group at a local golf club, Representative Ryan took a moment to give the crowd of supporters and donor a bit of comic relief when he discussed one of the "humbling moments" during his political career.
"I've been confused for Anthony Weiner twice now," Rep. Ryan Wednesday according to Saginaw News. "I don't know how this keeps happening."
One case of mistaken identity occurred when Representative Ryan was on-board a flight. "The flight attendants were looking at me; and they were sort of looking at me and pointing at me. And then, finally one of them comes up to me and says, 'You're somebody famous, aren't you? Are you Anthony Weiner?'"
Do you think they like alike?
