U.S. Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz is celebrating Earth Day in his own unique way.

Alongside Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Gina McCarthy, Moniz will try to accomplish the daunting task of throwing pitch at Fenway Park on Tuesday before the Red Sox and Yankees face off.

Moniz, an avid Red Sox fan and Boston native, has been practicing. “Outside the Department of Energy,” he told TIME says. “And on Saturday in Brookline, Massachusetts. So that got me within like one mile of Fenway Park.”

To showcase Moniz’s skills, his staff posted this amazing video of him pitching outside the Department of Energy where his signature long gray hair is flowing under his baseball cap.
