No one on The Cycle staff loves wonky historical references more than co-host Steve Kornacki. He can recall random information from periods in time that no one remembers without looking up, and we all know that what he says is true because Steve does know all.

In a new web only series, Steve Kornacki takes the viewer back in time. By picking a number randomly out of a hat he will recall what happened that many years ago and why it played such a vital role in shaping who the country has become.

In this week’s episode, Steve picks the number “21” and takes us back to the 1992 New Hampshire primary, which played a pivotal role in Bill Clinton become the next president of the United States. Watch to find out what our resident historian, Steve Kornacki, has to say about this time in history.
