Ben & Jerry’s is holding its 34th annual free ice cream cone day on Tuesday. Organizers expect to serve more than 1 million cones around the world.

Between noon and 8 p.m. Tuesday, customers can get their free cone at any participating Ben & Jerry's.

Twitter has exploded with people tweeting about the event with the hashtag #FreeConeDay, and this year Ben & Jerry’s is allowing Instagram users to tag photos of themselves with their treats under the hashtag #captureeuphoria.

Ben & Jerry's uses the promotion to highlight its tradition of philanthropy. The Ben & Jerrys Foundation, which is employee led, awards about $1.8 million annually to eligible organizations nationwide. During free cone day, participating locations pick the organization where they would like to donate the money—that includes everything from local charities, such as fire departments, to larger ones such as Operation Smile.
