Hurricane Isaac is not letting up anytime soon. With the Gulf Coast being slammed by the slow moving storm half a million people are without power and new evacuations are underway. This is seven years after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and destroyed millions of lives. For some towns, like Plaquemines Parish, Isaac is actually worse than Katrina. Water is actually going over some of the rural local levees, while the federal ones are still holding up.
And now, State Officials, are considering intentionally breaching a levee to help relieve the pressure.
We will have a full report from the Weather Channel Meteorologist Reynolds Wolf at 3pm who is live in New Orleans.
