  The rain has stopped in our Political Baseball game and according to the NBC News Wall Street Journal poll and 2 other polls, President Obama has about a 5 point lead. However the Gallup poll  has it much closer with the President and Romney being tied. However with the TV debates still yet to come, the first being held in 13 days on October 3rd in Denver, this race is clearly not over until all the votes are counted. There are many reasons to why each should win. The economy and job approval rating can be seen in either favor and each have their pros and cons.

            We cannot forget the “47%” line Mitt Romney said back in May at a fundraiser that has made the circuit this week due to a hidden camera video that was released. However, when people at Vanderbilt University sampled 600 Americans and showed them the actual video clip to gauge their real time reactions the result was that their opinion of Mitt Romney was not altered due to the video. In fact, his favorability has jumped from 38% to 43% in just 5 days.
