What is the law behind releasing body cam footage?
Police claim that Keith Lamont Scott was armed and threatening when he was shot, but he’s family members are claiming that he was not. The police chief said he will honor the family’s request to view the body cam footage, but will not release it to the public. MSNBC’s chief legal correspondent, Ari Melber, talks about what the police can offer to the public legally.
