It's that time of year when everybody looks back at 2011. Usually I just yawn, but this look back by the British newspaper The Guardian is both awesome and interactive. They give you a story a day from the year, and you can build your own list of top stories. Someone tweeted us this story from The Day in New London, Connecticut. Larry Crowley, the guy in the Navy whites on the seesaw, served on submarines in World War II. Mr. Crowley came home safely, then went to college on the G.I. bill.With help from the government, his generation -- including his friends on the seesaw -- had recovered from the war and built decent lives for themselves and their families by the time of President Kennedy's election in 1960. So last night we held our TRMS staff Christmas party at Bill's house, which I can tell you looks not much like the White House Christmas card to which Sarah Palin objects, nor to the Fox Business Christmas card so richly described on the show last night.We came home to these add-ons from you.
