* A new Quinnipiac poll shows President Obama leading Mitt Romney by seven points in Florida, six points in Ohio, and three points in Pennsylvania. It's hard to even imagine a scenario in which Romney loses these three states and wins the general election.

* The same poll shows Romney leading Santorum in Wisconsin by eight, 39% to 31%, with a week to go before the primary.

* Bob Kerrey's (D) comeback bid in Nebraska is off to a rough start: PPP shows the former senator's favorability rating dropping to just 36%.

* Arizona's U.S. Senate race got a little clearer this morning, with former state Democratic Party Chairman Don Bivens ending his campaign, clearing the way for former Surgeon General Richard Carmona to win the party's nomination.
