Today's installment of campaign-related news items that won't necessarily generate a post of their own, but may be of interest to political observers:

* The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) announced this morning it's launching robocalls in 50 U.S. House districts, tying vulnerable Republicans to Paul Ryan's budget plan. DCCC Chairman Steve Israel said in a statement, "From now until Election Day, Democrats will be on offense and in overdrive, seizing this golden opportunity."

* As Tricia noted earlier, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) will deliver the keynote address at the Republican National Convention, which begins in two weeks. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), meanwhile, will introduce Mitt Romney at the convention. Both had been considered for Romney's VP slot.

* Paul Ryan will be in Las Vegas today, attending a fundraiser with billionaire casino magnate Sheldon Adelson at one of his hotels.

* Planned Parenthood Action Fund released this new 30-second ad overnight, blasting the Romney-Ryan agenda as it relates to women's reproductive rights.

* Romney's super PAC is launching yet another round of anti-Obama attack ads, and this new round, at a cost of nearly $10.5 million, will be its largest ad buy to date.

* In New Hampshire, the latest WMUR-TV Granite State Poll shows President Obama with a narrow lead over Romney, 49% to 46%.

* Earlier this year, Republicans and their allies didn't think they'd have to spend a dime to keep Dick Lugar's Senate seat in GOP hands. Now, with Richard Mourdock on the ballot, the Koch brothers' Americans for Prosperity is buying ad time.

* And in Ohio, Republicans will replace retiring Rep. Steven LaTourette on the ballot with David Joyce, a county prosecutor. LaTourette unexpectedly announced his retirement last month.
