Reading in: Honey bees turn red

We loved reading “The Mystery of the Red Bees of Red Hook” in our local today, about apians who foraged at factory for maraschino cherries – with unsettling results:
Where there should have been a touch of gentle amber showing through the membrane of their honey stomachs was instead a garish bright red. The honeycombs, too, were an alarming shade of Robitussin.
Take a look now. It’ll come in handy for tonight’s show.
