Following up on an earlier item, President Obama spoke this afternoon in the Rose Garden, explaining the importance of today's new immigration policy, effectively implementing the goals of the DREAM Act.
You'll notice that, about half-way through the president's statement, a "reporter" began heckling. We've since learned that the person in question is Neil Munro, who works for something called the Daily Caller, a far-right online venture created by Tucker Carlson. If this was a desperate bid for attention, it was largely successful -- even many Republicans were stunned to see a purported media professional heckling the president at the White House during a major policy statement, but all of a sudden, everyone knows who Munro is.
Conservative media antics notwithstanding, what matters today is the new immigration policy, and the hundreds of thousands of immigrants who will benefit.
