Hey, here's something some of you may be interested in: HouseParty.com is part coupon site like Groupon and part meet-up site like Evite. From what I can tell, the way it works is that you plug in your information and they hook you up to host theme parties. The sponsor of the theme sends you coupons and stuff to help you host the party. So the msnbc marketing folks are trying a twist on the idea and are sponsoring Rachel Maddow Show parties. If you join HouseParty.com and apply and then you're chosen to be a party host, msnbc sends you a bunch of pretty cool TRMS stuff. All of the parties are meant to happen on Friday, November 4, 2011 (corrected the date).
