'It's great to be back here on Earth'

Four members of NASA's final shuttle crew turned out in New York today for an event called "What's Your Favorite Space?" with Elmo, who needs no introduction. The astronauts also took a turn last night on the Colbert Report. Now, in the cramped America that President Obama warned about yesterday, NASA and the big dream of beautiful science need all the friends they can get.
