'If she's as good...as she is on Rachel Maddow, she will definitely have some support.'

Ever since President Obama passed over Elizabeth Warren to appoint someone else (whom she greatly respects) as the head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, speculation has raged about where Ms. Warren may land next. For now, as has been widely reported, the Harvard Law professor has landed back home in Massachusetts.

But here’s how far-reaching the speculation is getting: one business blogger has the crazy-as-a-fox idea of Republican presidential contender Ron Paul recruiting Ms. Warren as his vice-presidential candidate for a run against President Obama.  Considering Ms. Warren’s support for Mr. Obama, that seems unlikely. So what next? An article in today’s New York Times considers the notion that Ms. Warren may run for U.S. Senate against current Republican Senator Scott Brown.

One quote stood out (well, to us, at least):

“I don’t know her,” said John Walsh, the chairman of the Massachusetts Democratic Party, “but I’ve seen her on TV, and if she’s as good on the stump or at the chicken bake as she is on Rachel Maddow, she will definitely have some support.”

Stumps and chicken bakes await, but if you missed Ms. Warren’s appearance on TRMS one week ago today, you can see it after the jump.
