Crowd: Sources?

Every morning I get up at the crack o' dawn and start scouring a long list of papers and blogs for news that might be of interest to Rachel and co. We don't want to miss a single story here at TRMS World HQ, and sometimes I worry that I'm not reading somebody I should really be paying attention to. I would love your help: Is there a particular blogger you can't live without? Someone who covers your local politics (state, county, town level) really well?
