Was I the only one a tiny bit bummed out when the first Apocalypse was called off back on May 21? Build up, buildup, buildup……awwwww…

I’ve got good –really, really bad—news! Harold Camping, the evangelist who predicted the May blowout has re-scheduled the End Times for October 21—making this the Casual-est Friday ever!

Here’s why this end-of-the-world will be better than the last one:

*The first one tested poorly with a 15-34 year old audience in Van Nuys. Producers say Apocalypse 2.0 will be faster with more catch phrases.

* During the smiting, Heaven and Earth will resound to Rebecca Black’s ”Friday.” (Partyin’, partyin’…)

* The Almighty has had six more months to stoke His Terrible Rage, so His Judgment should be….Wrath-tastic!

* It’s after Labor Day, so feel free to wear black.

* Unlike May, Fall is when all the serious award-contending Apocalypses come out.

Got more? Please share in the comments. And have a nice (short) week!
